Service and Spare Parts for EMD Locomotives
ZOKO MOBILITY serves as the service and spare parts provider for Israel Railways’ EMD locomotive fleet, managing a comprehensive technical, logistical and commercial support system.
The scope of activities includes managing extensive spare parts inventory, providing emergency supply solutions, arranging air freight for critical components when required, and implementing advanced inventory management to optimize availability and reduce excess stock.

Locomotive Computer Systems Upgrade
As part of a large-scale strategic project, ZOKO MOBILITY led the upgrade of computer systems across 70 locomotives, including the integration of CPM500 and LIG modules.
The project established an advanced technological infrastructure to support future upgrades and enhance the monitoring, control and maintenance capabilities of the locomotive fleet.
The scope of work included integration between mechanical and electronic systems, alongside complex engineering adaptations within an active operational environment.
AESS Project for Improved Operational Efficiency
A project to implement Automatic Engine Stop-Start systems in locomotives, designed to improve operational efficiency and reduce unnecessary engine running time.

Engine Upgrades to Advanced Emissions Standards
An engine upgrade project for JT42 and EURO 3200/4000 locomotives to meet advanced emissions standards.
The project included transitioning from MUI to EUI systems, integrating advanced electronic systems and implementing complex engineering adaptations to the propulsion systems.
Overhaul of EURO 3200 Traction Motors
Overhaul of traction motors for the EURO 3200 fleet in accordance with OEM guidelines.
The project included establishing a dedicated work environment, developing approved maintenance procedures and training professional teams to service and maintain the propulsion systems.
DPF Systems Installation Project
A project to install DPF systems on 64 of Israel Railways’ power cars, executed over a six-month period through a continuous 24/7 work schedule.
The project aimed to reduce emissions and adapt propulsion systems to advanced environmental standards, while maintaining high fleet availability and operational continuity.
The scope of work included large-scale installation, system integration and comprehensive testing.
Power Car Engine Replacement
A project to replace 3406 engines with C13 engines in Israel Railways’ power cars.
The project included engine removal and installation, mechanical and engineering adaptations, system integration and comprehensive operational testing to ensure reliable performance and seamless integration.
JT42BW Upgrade Project
A pilot project for upgrading the JT42BW locomotive, including the transition from MUI to EUI systems, computer and control system upgrades, and implementation of an AESS system.
The project combined mechanical, electronic and software expertise, with the goal of improving locomotive performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
IC3 Project in Collaboration with ALSTOM
As part of a collaboration with ALSTOM, ZOKO MOBILITY participated in a maintenance and overhaul project for Israel Railways’ IC3 train fleet.
The project included establishing dedicated infrastructure, recruiting and training professional teams, and developing advanced rebuild lines for DEUTZ engines and additional systems.
The scope of work included dedicated workshops, advanced testing facilities and the overhaul of dozens of engines, supporting increased fleet availability and operational reliability.
Support for the LAVI 180M Project
Support for the LAVI 180M project in the field of rolling stock maintenance.
As part of the project, a dedicated team of technicians and electricians was recruited and trained to provide ongoing onsite support over an extended period.
